California Vehicle Code requires a minimum number of training hours and experience for Hearing Examiners who hear appeals for contested parking citations.  CMPA offers training that will satisfy this requirement for individuals who represent issuing agencies and wish to maintain their standing as a fully trained and competent hearing examiner 

CMPA will offer a full 8-hour training session which will include breakfast and lunch and will focus on the following eight learning modules:

1. Introduction and Overview
2. Violation Codes and Definitions
3. Overview of Contesting Process
4. First Level Review
5. Second Level Administrative Hearing
6. Contesting Model
7. Decision Writing and Consequences
8. Substantive Law and Common Issues

CMPA will provide a validation for those attending the training that offers 50% off parking for the day (does not include overnight parking).
