Bill Vedrin, PTMP, Parking Manager, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

Bill Vedrin, PTMP, is the Parking Manager at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He oversees all parking operations, event planning, and transportation logistics across the large university campus. Bill manages a team that includes two full-time parking officers, thirteen part-time staff, and thirty Community Service Officers who are student workers supporting daily operations and events.

He plays a key role in coordinating major campus events such as Move-In, Commencement, and athletic events, focusing on safety, communication, and efficiency. Bill’s leadership and teamwork have helped Cal Poly improve traffic flow, strengthen coordination across departments, and deliver a smooth experience for the campus community and its visitors.

Lauren Madonna, Events Coordinator, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

Lauren Madonna is the Events Coordinator for Cal Poly’s Transportation and Parking Services. She manages the behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps major campus events running smoothly, working closely with the President’s Office, Student Affairs, Performing Arts Center, Facilities, ASI, Career Services and the different colleges on campus. Lauren oversees parking validations, communication with event partners, and the logistical details that support planning and execution. Her organization and attention to detail ensure every event is well-prepared and successful from start to finish.
