Description
The California Vehicle Code requires a minimum number of training hours and experience for Hearing Examiners who are responsible for the 2nd level administrative review of contested parking citations. CMPA offers training that will satisfy this requirement for individuals who conduct hearings and wish to maintain their standing as a fully trained and competent hearing examiner. This training is also helpful for individuals who conduct 1st level initial administrative reviews and program managers.
CMPA is offering an 8-hour training session on Tuesday, August 6th beginning at 8:00am (registration opens at 7:30am) and includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Violation Codes and Definitions
Overview of Contesting Process
First Level Review
Second Level Administrative Hearing
Contesting Model
Decision Writing and Consequences
Substantive Law and Common Issues
