CMPA- Marketing Manager Services
1. Overview The California Mobility & Parking Association (CMPA) is seeking qualified marketing professionals or firms to support the growth and visibility of the organization. CMPA represents parking and mobility professionals across California and serves as a hub for industry knowledge, professional development, and collaboration. CMPA is requesting qualifications from individuals or firms capable of providing strategic and tactical marketing support to strengthen the organization’s brand, expand awareness, and support membership growth.
2. Scope of Services The selected marketing manager will support CMPA through a combination of strategic guidance and hands-on execution. Services may include:
Brand & Awareness
• Strengthen CMPA’s brand presence across the mobility and parking industry
• Develop messaging that clearly communicates the organization’s mission and value
• Utilize existing Growth zone backend CMPA account
Content Development
• Coordinate and source Subject Matter Expert (SME) articles from members and industry leaders
• Support development of newsletters, articles, and industry commentary AND track and report back on metrics
Social Media & Digital Engagement
• Develop and manage CMPA social media presence
• Plan and execute social media content calendars
• Promote events, initiatives, and membership opportunities
Membership Growth
• Support campaigns designed to grow membership and industry engagement
• Assist with marketing initiatives tied to CMPA events, programs, and partnerships
• Complete outreach to potential member agencies across the state who do not currently participate with CMPA and communicate benefits of membership
General Marketing Coordination
• Assist with marketing strategy, communications planning, and promotional campaigns
• Coordinate messaging across digital channels, publications, and member communications
3. Desired Qualifications
CMPA seeks professionals with experience in one or more of the following:
• Marketing strategy and brand development
• Content marketing and editorial coordination
• Social media management and digital engagement
• Membership or association marketing
• Experience working with professional associations, nonprofits, or industry organizations
• Familiarity with the mobility, transportation, or parking industries is preferred but not required
4. Response Requirements
Interested individuals or firms should submit a brief statement of qualifications including:
1. Firm / Individual Overview Background, relevant experience, and areas of expertise.
2. Relevant Experience Examples of similar marketing work, particularly with associations, professional organizations, or industry groups.
3. Approach A brief description of how you would support CMPA’s goals of growing awareness, strengthening the brand, and supporting membership growth.
4. Team & Availability Key personnel who would support the work and anticipated availability.
5. Estimated Fee Structure Proposed pricing structure (hourly, retainer, or project-based).
6. References At least two professional references.
